KOSPO POWER SERVICES LTDA

Sister company of Kelar S.A. and in turn one of the subsidiaries of KOSPO, a state company in South Korea specializing in the generation, operation and maintenance of power plants, providing operation and maintenance services to the Kelar Combined Cycle thermoelectric plant, located in Mejillones, from the 2016 with a minimum operating period of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years.

ICT

Information Technology and Communications, specialists in computer science and networks, are responsible for the cybersecurity of the plant

Electrical

The electricians are mainly responsible for maintaining the equipment that generates the electricity and they are also responsible for all the electrical connections of the plant

Mechanical

Mechanical teamo bjective is to maximize the availability of the equipments for the best performance in the operation and keep the value of the installations, minimizing the wears.

Chemical

The chemical area is mainly responsible for the processes, both of the water plant and of the plant in general.

I&C

Instrumentation and Control is the team responsible for the devices and systems that measure, evaluate and correct the process variables (pressure, flow, temperature, level, analysis, etc.) of the KELAR power plant.

Administration

Administration is mainly responsible for human resources, purchasing and finance

Operation

The operators are responsible for managing the generation of nergy, outlining the costs of the operation

Environment

Environmentalists are responsible for assessing environmental aspects, applying them, developing environmental emergency plans

Kelar Plant

Kelar plant located in Mejillones, is currently the only plant where Kospo Power Services is working and providing its services. The beginning of the work in this plant was during the period of December of the year 2016.

We are currently more than 50 workers in this plant, where each one contributes to their respective area, always safely and respecting the rules imposed by Kospo Power Services, it is expected that over time we will join more people to our team and serve the Kospo community, we are waiting for you
